Chair's Message
At our February meeting Mark V. Kwasny, author of Washington's
Partisan War, gave us a vivid talk about the exploits of those
much maligned part time soldiers, the American militia -- and how
George Washington learned the art of working with them. Mr. Kwasny's
talk was as well prepared and impressive as his excellent book.
Everyone came away with a new appreciation of an often neglected side
of the Revolution.
